Street dance - Street dance is an umbrella term used to describe dance styles that were originally danced mostly at night clubs or outside in the streets, mainly because of their social nature that encourages performance and battles.

Funk dance - Funk dance or funk styles refer to dance styles that were originally danced to funk music. More specifically they can be used for a group of street dance styles that originated in California in the 1970s, mainly popping and locking.

Apache (dance) - Apache is a highly dramatic dance associated in popular culture with Parisian street culture in the beginning of 20th century. The name of the dance is pronounced ah-PAHSH (not ah-PATCH-ee, like the Native American tribe).

Swing (dance) - Swing is a group of related street dances that evolved from Lindy Hop. Swing is a partner dance, where the couple consists of a leader and follower, who share a connection.
